Family Yoga
We are living in a strange time. A time where we will be adjusting to getting 'back to normal' for quite some time. Our routines have been turned upside down or just gone out the window completely. We are struggling for options on where to go when we get family time and anxiety may have crept in. Wouldn't it be fun to have that fun day out come to you? With a huge range of extra benefits including managing family stress and anxiety, creating deeper connections with each other and helping you discover tools for your family to find space and peace in your day to day living. Whether you are looking for ways to have a calmer bedtime routine, a little more mindfulness or just some quality time together doing something new, family yoga just may be what you are looking for. So often we spend time with our families without being present, with the distraction of work, housework and the endless to-do lists, family yoga gives you time to be together and really enjoy being in the moment. Grown ups get to be a child again and let loose, it is truly magical.
Toddlers

In toddler yoga we have a lot of songs, games and fun yoga stories! We first guide the toddler through some fun movements and simple breath work and then enjoy a bit of calm/ stillness. We use toys, music and art to create a playful and stimulating learning environment for them to learn how their bodies move and how their minds work.
Children
Kids yoga classes are designed to be fun and imaginative. Children have the space to be creative and maintain their natural flexibility while moving through fun poses. Children are taught useful breathing techniques that will stay with them through to adulthood. It can be very high energy and balanced with some ways that we can calm ourselves down after play. Yoga gives children the tools to calm them selves down and to relax. Yoga helps to reduce stress, helps build concentration and coordination. Private Yoga is very special as it adapted to your child's wants and needs. It is designed with their interests in mind and they can help to co-create yoga adventures that are going to benefit them.

Teenagers
Private sessions for teens allows them a safe place to express, move and breathe. The teenage years can be a vulnerable time. It gives teenagers tools they can use in their everyday lives such as preparing for an exam or dealing with general day to day worries. Teenagers have so many stressors which can be difficult to deal with. They have peer pressure, school demands, social expectations, technology issues. Technology is a big part of a lot of teens lives now which can lead not only to mental stress, but also to 'text neck' and posture problems. Through Yoga we can help bring an awareness to the body. Teenagers can begin to learn how to quieten busy minds, demands and that inner critic. They can build confidence, learn ways to manage stress and anxiety and learn tools to help them focus. Yoga can be a playful time for self expression and imagination. We are moving deeper into poses and learning a bit about why certain poses are good for our bodies. We also work on noticing how certain poses feel in our body. This is a good practice of being in the moment, listening to ourselves, trusting our own intuitions and connecting to our own self worth.

Adults
Private and Semi Private Yoga sessions
In these surreal times, when we are just easing out of our bubble, when anxiety is at a high and emotions are running strong, we may not feel ready for a large group class. This is why I would like to offer a class for those who want to work on their physical and mental wellbeing but in a space they can feel safe and at ease. You can feel confident that the right safety measures are in place for your best interest throughout the Centre. These sessions will be for a group of four people, with adequate space adhering to guidelines, between mats.
These sessions will allow you to show up as you are, whether as a beginner or someone with an established practice. It can be unnerving to go out into the world right now with so much uncertainty, which is why we have created a safe, warm, welcoming environment for you. It will allow you to connect with others as well as to yourself.
These sessions can be helpful when
These classes will be tailored to your group and take your personal goals and needs into account. These classes are not yet planned as they will need your input via questionnaire so we can give you what you need at this moment. You will be able to openly ask questions and learn at your own pace. We can explore modifications that feel right for you as well as receive more individual attention to help you find ease in different asanas (poses).

Private Yoga is a perfect way to get some much needed self care. It gives you a personalized session each time so that you can work towards your own goals or help you to develop a regular personal practice. It is good if you would like a bit more individual attention so that you can grow all aspects of your yoga practice. You can focus on a self development practice that will help you to live life feeling more grounded, calm and open. It can be wonderful for those with busy schedules, people who can not make it to a studio class or for those who do not feel ready to practice in a group right now with recent occurring's. We all have different bodies and different needs. A private class honors and celebrates this. A private class has your body in mind always and the sequences/ poses have been hand picked to support you.

- You have specific needs you would like to work with (Injuries with doctors clearance or strengthening different areas)

- You want to connect with others in a safe environment
- You want to look after your mental wellness as well as your physical being

Currently I am only doing private lessons online.
How much does a Private session cost?
Prices will vary depending on how long you would like the session to last (45 minutes to 90 minutes - 60 being the average). Costs will be worked out prior to the sessions.
